About Corey!

A bit about me

I am a long term resident of Parkland County.  Born and raised in the County I attended Keephills, Duffield, and Memorial Composite High school.  After several years working on the farm I decided it was time for post secondary attending Grant MacEwan University graduating with a Diploma in Investigational Studies.

Parkland County has always be home for us and after a 20 year career with the RCMP I decided to return to my roots.  Raising our 2 children on our farm just south of Stony Plain.  We enjoy  all aspects of grain farming, raising cattle, and haying.

I am a licensed General Contractor and owner of Farmstead Homes.  We work with customers to  build custom homes, shops and barns in the region.

My wife, Morgan, works with the RCMP in Edmonton at the Headquarters building.  She works in Criminal Operations, specializing in intimate Partner relationship policies.   She was previously the recipient of the International Chiefs of Police award for top 40 under 40 police officers in the world for her work in the community and aboriginal communities.   She is passionate about her work in community policing.

I have always had a passion to work in Municipal Politics and looks forward to serve the members of Division 4.

Campaign Funding

With years of service in the public service I feel the best approach is to be self - funded.  I do thank you for the offer of donation but feel the best way to be transparent and independent is to be self-funded in my campaign.  So, sorry for no fancy gifts!

I truly have a passion in working to improve Parkland County and hope to serve you in the next term!
